Moriah Plath has been through the most changes of any Welcome to Plathville cast member over the course of four seasons. The so-called rebel child has had a complete turnaround and is now back in her parents' good graces. Moriah has had her first serious relationship and first heartbreak on the show. Of all the Welcome to Plathville cast members, Moriah is the one who has physically, mentally, and emotionally transformed the most.
Moriah said on the show that she did not feel like she fit in with the rest of her family. While her siblings loved living on a large farm in rural Georgia, she was the one most interested in getting away and traveling the world, which was her parents' worst nightmare. On Welcome to Plathville season 1, fans saw how misunderstood Moriah was, as she was called the rebel for wearing makeup and slightly more revealing clothes than her siblings.
Moriah was kicked out of the family home on Welcome to Plathville season 2 because her parents saw her as a bad influence on her younger brothers and sisters. She was able to celebrate her freedom and be who she wanted to be after leaving her overbearing parents, and fans could see that change with her style evolution as well. Moriah started dyeing her hair bright colors like purple and pink, wearing revealing outfits that would shock her mom, and even getting multiple tattoos.
Moriah also took her passion for music and turned it into a career on Welcome to Plathville. She has already released two singles, and has even talked about moving to Los Angeles eventually. Moriah has gotten to travel all over the U.S., including her sweet sibling road trip with her brother, Micah Plath. Moriah never planned on spending her life in Cairo, Georgia, and fans were excited for her when she announced the move to Tampa, Florida, with Ethan and Olivia Plath. Moriah started living on her own and supporting herself as a teenager, and has become much more mature as a result.
A big part of Moriah's life on Welcome to Plathville was her relationship with her first boyfriend, Max Kallschmidt. Max and Moriah started out as friends, and went on to date for over a year. Moriah's strict mom even approved of their relationship, and he gave Moriah a promise ring that signified his intention to marry her one day. The pair have since split after Max kissed another woman, and Moriah has spent much of Welcome to Plathville season 4 so far experiencing her first heartbreak. She has learned to stand up for herself and is finally supported by all of her family for her differences.
Welcome to Plathville season 4 is currently airing on TLC.
