The acting challenge in season 12 was a parody of the long-running medical TV show, Grey's Anatomy. In the challenge, Jan, Jackie Cox, Brita Filter, and Gigi Goode, spoofed the doctors from the ABC drama show.
While they didn't win the challenge, Widow Von'Du was praised by the judges for adding some hilarious improv to her act. Nicky Doll, who gave a rib-tickling portrayal of an overgrown, French-speaking baby, was criticized by the judges and eliminated during the episode.

In the murder-mystery telenovela Ella No Es Dama, Detox, Alaska Thunderf***, and Roxxxy Andrews play three women who are fighting over their dead lover. Despite being grouped with Alyssa and Coco, who are most known for having one of the biggest beefs on Drag Race, Jinkx Monsoon unleashed her theater roots and won the challenge.
Season 4 had some of the most dramatic moments in RuPaul's Drag Race, including the controversial disqualification of Willam Bell and some of the most unforgettable Untucked moments. The season has also spawned some of the most iconic lines in Drag Race herstory, courtesy of the acting challenge where queens played comedic roles in the mock prison show Hot in Tuckahoe.
The lines "But I am not into horticulture!" and "Get those nuts away from my face!" are forever ingrained into the minds of fans thanks to Jiggly Caliente's and Latrice Royale's excellent delivery.

Season 14 of Drag Race had arguably the funniest acting challenge in Drag Race herstory. The queens had to act in an '80s-inspired sitcom called The Daytona Wind, which was obviously inspired by the iconic drama TV show Dynasty.
Little did the queens know that the script was full of fart jokes. While they were watching their final product on the main stage, the queens were taken aback as they heard fart sound effects throughout the presentation. While most of the queens did well during the challenge, it was Lady Camden who was deemed the challenge winner for her supreme acting chops.
