Former 90 Day Fiancé star Paul Staehle running shirtless to reveal his weight loss on Instagram has left fans feeling worried. Kentucky man Paul and his Brazilian partner Karine Martins made their franchise debut with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2017. Season 1 of the popular spin-off saw Paul going to a very remote area of the Amazon rainforest to meet Karine for the first time. Back then, being bitten by a mosquito or being eaten by a piranha were the things that worried Paul about his relationship with Karine. By the time 2022 arrived, TLC viewers witnessed several scary occurrences in Paul and Karine’s storyline.
Paul, who’d been with unfaithful girlfriends in his past, had predicted that Karine’s humble living conditions, their language barrier, and the difficult trip to her town, Tonantins, would cause them grief in their relationship. Soon enough, Paul insisted that Karine take an STD and pregnancy test before they could get intimate. Meanwhile, Paul was hiding details of his previous arrest and jail time from Karine. The couple eventually got engaged, and by the time they got married and were featured in their final 90 Day Fiancé stint on Happily Ever After? season 5, they’d split five times, amid Paul accusing Karine of cheating. Despite it all, Karine and Paul welcomed two baby sons, but as per an alleged domestic violence altercation between them at their home in Kentucky, as seen in a viral video from December 2021, it appears they have split for good this time.
In May this year, Paul was all smiles as he posted several cozy-looking selfies with a mystery woman on Instagram, who fans think is his new girlfriend. While Paul hasn’t confirmed or denied the speculations, he seems to be focusing his energies on something else. Paul first showed off his weight-loss success in September 2018 and is now working hard to bring his slender figure back. Paul Staehle is best remembered for randomly running out of the frame on 90 Day Fiancé with the camera person and producers chasing him. He tries to maintain his wacky antics on Instagram by sprinting in his reels for no known reason, but 90 Day Fiancé fans think Paul’s joke didn’t land when he tried doing it shirtless. He has posted a video of himself in a hallway, wearing a T-shirt and jogging to the beats of “I'm Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred, which is scaring his 500k+ followers.
As Paul walks toward the camera, he takes off his shirt and keeps running back and forth again. While running, the 90 Day Fiancé' star's jeans, which are too loose for him now that he’s slimmer, keep slipping down to reveal his underwear. “You’re a 32/30 please buy 32/30 jeans PLEASE,” wrote one of Paul’s Instagram followers. “Mom I’m scared,” added another. Someone else jokingly told Paul, “You should fire your belt. It isn’t working.” However, what some fans failed to notice was the lock of hair that Paul is holding in his right hand at the beginning of the clip. Fans are demanding an explanation for the bizarre video from Paul, but they also predict that it too would be traumatizing.
Fans agree that Paul’s signature running has run its course and it isn't funny anymore. They suspect he keeps doing these strange videos just for money and that it’s high time he focuses on his personal growth for himself and his kids. Karine, meanwhile, is living her best life, at least according to her Instagram. Her removing all photos of Paul and their two sons from her feed suggests she’s not living with them. Karine has also lost some weight and has updated her style while she’s been impressing her followers with her fluent English. Perhaps 90 Day Fiancé's Paul should also try to reinvent himself.
