V/H/S/ 99 Official Poster Teases the Most Extreme Horror Sequel Yet

The first official poster for V/H/S/99 is teasing the franchise's most extreme sequel to date. The popular horror series, created by Brad Miska and Bloody Disgusting, began back in 2012 with the release of V/H/S, an anthology of short films linked together through the concept of found footage on old VHS tapes. V/H/S/99 was announced last month and will serve as the fifth installment in the series, focusing on its titular year and observing themes specific to the era, including the rise of DVD technology. Featuring a brand-new slate of directors, comprised of Johannes Roberts, Flying Lotus, Tyler MacIntyre, Maggie Levin, and Vanessa & Joseph Winter, the upcoming entry will be released on Shudder on October 20, 2022.
