FX has officially announced the official title and full cast members of the upcoming eleventh season of American Horror Story. The newest installment to Ryan Murphy’s long-running horror anthology series has been titled as American Horror Story: New York City, which is currently slated to premiere on Wednesday, October 19 with the first two episodes. This will then be followed by two episodes each Wednesday for four subsequent weeks.

American Horror Story: New York City will be starring Joe Mantello, Billie Lourd, Zachary Quinto, Russell Tovey, Leslie Grossman, Charlie Carver, Sandra Bernhard, Isaac Powell, Denis O’Hare, and Patti LuPone. Notable cast members who are once again absent for this season are Emmy winners Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.
Further details about its plot and the cast’s characters are still being kept under wraps, but the network has revealed the new installment’s first two key-art posters, featuring two unknown individuals wearing gothic lingerie with spikes all over their bodies.

American Horror Story is created and executive produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Executive producers are Murphy, Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, John J. Gray, Manny Coto, Jennifer Salt, and Our Lady J. It is a production by 20th Television.
FX reports that the series’ total audience is over 1 billion total viewers across its 103 episodes and nine seasons. The anthology series has received 95 Emmy nominations and won 16 times, as well as two Golden Globe awards.
