Voice actor Dale Wilson’s death was confirmed by his wife, Gail Wilson in an emotional statement.

On January 7, 2025, Gail took to his Facebook page to make the announcement stating that the voice actor passed away on January 6. She further disclosed details of the cause of his death and stated, “Hi Everyone. This is Gail, Dale’s wife. It is with an aching heart that I must tell you. Last evening Dale moved on from this Earthly existence. Having lived with metastasized prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease for many years, he was ready.”

Dale’s wife further expressed how her husband meant the world to her as she bid him farewell with a lyric by Bonnie Raitt. It read, “He taught me how to live….how to be myself……and how to give.” Gail Wilson concluded the statement by addressing the rest of the family and Dale’s fans. She wrote, “I know he has for many of you as well. And I know he treasured each one of you; his relatives, friends, and fans.”

Working with Ocean Productions, Dale Wilson had an illustrious career in voice acting. His most popular work was on the English dub of Dragon Ball Z, in which he voiced multiple characters. This included Cell, King Yemma, Kami, Goz, and one of Goku’s closest pals, Android 8.
