Lili Taylor has joined the cast of Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
The first six episodes of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 are now available to stream on Disney+. The MCU series sees Charlie Cox reprise his role as the titular hero, while Vincent D’Onfrio returns as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
A second season of Daredevil: Born Again is currently in production and, per Deadline, Taylor has now joined the cast in a recurring role.
Who could Lili Taylor be playing in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
According to Deadline, Taylor might be playing “a political foe for Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk,” though this has not been confirmed at this time.
Taylor is known for playing Carolyn Perron in The Conjuring and Josephina “Jojo” Barbosa in 1988’s Mystic Pizza. Her filmography also includes 1989’s Say Anything…, 1989’s Born on the Fourth of July, 1993’s Short Cuts, 1995’s The Addiction, 1996’s Girls Town, 1996’s I Shot Andy Warhol, 1999’s The Haunting, 2000’s High Fidelity, 2015’s Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, 2017’s Leatherface, and more. She’ll soon be seen in Fear Street: Prom Queen, which hits Netflix this coming May.
In television, Taylor has starred in shows such as Deadline, Six Feet Under, Hemlock Grove, Almost Human, American Crime, Perry Mason, Outer Range, and Manhunt, among other titles. She was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in an episode of The X-Files, among other accolades.
Matthew Lillard has also been cast in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which does not yet have an official premiere date. The Marvel Studios series additionally stars Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, and others.
