Jon Gries says he’d love to reprise his role as Greg Hunt in The White Lotus Season 4, should the script call for it.
HBO‘s The White Lotus Season 3 finale is now available to stream on Max. The latest White Lotus entry is created by Mike White and once again sees Gries reprise his role as Greg, while the cast also includes Carrie Coon, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and many more.
What did Jon Gries say about potentially returning for The White Lotus Season 4?
Given that Greg survived The White Lotus Season 3 and has been the only character who has appeared in all previous seasons of the show, Gries was asked by The Hollywood Reporter about what he thought about potentially returning for Season 4.
“There’s no trying to predict anything Mike White does,” he said. “I never presumed I’d be in season two. Same for season three. Everything he does has an element of surprise to it. Yes, I would love to come back. But does the book on Greg seem like it’s complete? I can’t tell you.”
The White Lotus Season 3 finale revealed that Aimee Lou Wood’s Chelsea and Walton Goggins’ Rick Hatchett were killed in a gunfight at the Thailand resort. Greg, meanwhile, managed to survive the events of the season, as he’s still with Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) and has now seemingly found someone willing to join in on their sexual adventures.
This, however, comes after Greg agrees to pay Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) $5 million in order to keep quiet about his involvement with the death of Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge). While Belinda leaves Thailand in order to put some space between her and Greg after the deal is made, there’s always the chance he could change his mind and go looking for her.
The White Lotus was officially renewed for a fourth season in January 2025. No casting or location has yet been announced. The White Lotus Season 4 does not yet have a premiere date.
