Ahead of Ted Lasso‘s long-awaited return, Apple TV+ has announced that all 34 episodes of the acclaimed comedy series will be released in 4K UHD in a collector’s box set. Since its debut in 2020, the show has maintained an average Tomatometer score of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.
When is the release date for Ted Lasso 4K Collector’s Edition?
Called Ted Lasso: The Richmond Way, the 4K UHD collector’s box set will be available to purchase on November 11, both online and at major retailers. Experience the full charm and humor of all 34 episodes in a stunning 4K UHD, enhanced with Dolby Vision for richer contrast and vibrant colors.
At the moment, production is underway for Ted Lasso Season 4. It will feature the return of the show’s main cast, including Jason Sudeikis as the titular football coach, Hannah Waddingham as AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Walton, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, and Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard. The next season will also introduce new characters, portrayed by Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern.
“Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would,” reads the logline for the new installment.
Ted Lasso Season 4 will see Sudeikis’ Ted coaching a women’s football team. The series was developed by Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly, based on the preexisting format and characters from NBC Sports. It is executive produced by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Jack Burditt, Goldstein, Sarah Walker, and Phoebe Walsh.
