On Monday, he shared that he was still looking to take on a couple of projects before retiring for good. Sajak was the host of Wheel of Fortune for 41 seasons, exiting the show in June 2024.

The renowned TV personality is truly one of the most acclaimed figures in the entertainment industry. He hosted Wheel of Fortune, one of the most popular game shows around, for over four decades.
Pat Sajak began hosting Wheel of Fortune back in 1981 and continued doing so till June 2024. He further continued hosting Celebrity Wheel of Fortune until 2025. In his packed career, Sajak also received 19 nominations for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show Host, winning three times.
The iconic game show host recently celebrated his 79th birthday on October 27 and took it as an opportunity to address his future. Interestingly, it seems that he is not yet done with the entertainment world. In an X (formerly Twitter) post, he emphasized that he would want to do one or two more projects before embracing retirement.
Sajak wrote on his birthday, “Thank you for all the lovely and touching birthday greetings yesterday. Happily, I’m feeling great and looking forward to another project or two before retirement. Stay tuned.”
So, while Pat Sajak may not be around on television presently, he may soon return with a new project. This is an exciting prospect for fans, who expressed their excitement on his X post as well.
As Sajak has also appeared in movies and other media, it is not clear what project he is referring to, but whatever it is, his fans will undoubtedly be excited about it.
