Netflix has shared the official trailer for Steel Ball Run JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, the highly anticipated next installment to the long-running hit anime show. The first episode of Part 7 is scheduled to start streaming on March 19, 2026.
“It’s 1890, in America, the Steel Ball Run — the first horse racing championship across the North American continent — was about to begin. Spanning around 4,000 miles, the race offered 50 million dollars as the winning prize. Johnny Joestar, once being hailed as a genius jockey, is now paralysed and lost in despair,” reads the official synopsis. “He finds hope in the mysterious phenomena caused by Gyro Zeppeli, an outlaw aiming to win the race, and determines to participate in the Steel Ball Run Race. Each having their own goal in mind, the two form an alliance and set foot upon the grueling adventure and race.”

What occurs in the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7 trailer?
The video provides fans with a glimpse of the next chapter of the Joestar family saga, featuring Johnny Joestar. He is introduced as a former jockey who becomes paraplegic after getting shot in the back. He suddenly gets the opportunity to ride a horse again when he allies with a mysterious outlaw. Together, they will join the first-ever cross-continental horse race across North America.
Steel Ball Run JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure serves as the seventh installment in the popular anime TV show. Based on a story by Hirohiko Araki, the anime is directed by Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi. It features the voices of Daman Mills as Johnny Joestar, Kaiji Tang as Gyro Zeppeli, Damien Haas as Diego Brando, Frankie Kevich as Lucy Steel, Jamieson Price as Steven Steel, Alejandro Antonio Ruiz as Sand Man, and Cedric Williams as Pocoloco.
“My heart is pounding with excitement to be entrusted with directing this anime adaptation. The entire staff shares this feeling and is pouring their passion into daily production,” Yasuhiro Kimura said in a statement (via Tudum). “I look forward to sharing our enthusiasm for this work with all of you, and hope we can ride this journey together.”
The creative team consists of series director Toshiyuki Kato, series composition Yasuko Kobayashi, chief animation director Daisuke Tsumagari, and sound director Yoshikazu Iwanami, along with sub character designers Yui Kinoshita, Grand Guerrilla, Minoru Murao, and Chii. It also features music by Yugo Kanno. It hails from the animation studio, David Production.
