Hulu releases this week include Kate Beckinsale’s R-rated movie, plus other fresh additions.
Coming to Hulu on June 9, Underworld: Blood Wars follows vampire death dealer Selene, played by Beckinsale, as she battles both the Lycan clan and a treacherous faction of vampires. Each side is hunting for the blood of her hidden daughter, Eve, to build a dominant hybrid army. With David (Theo James) and Thomas (Charles Dance) by her side, Selene fights to finally end the centuries-old war.
Releasing this week on Hulu on the same date is It Ends With Us, a 2024 romantic drama adapted from Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel. The film follows Blake Lively’s Lily, an aspiring entrepreneur who moves to Boston, opens a flower shop, and marries Ryle (Justin Baldoni), a neurosurgeon. When their marriage becomes abusive, Lily’s first love, Atlas, played by Brandon Sklenar, reappears in her life. His return forces her to make a difficult choice to end a generational cycle of trauma.
Meanwhile, Alice and Steve Season 1 premieres on Hulu on June 8, 2026. This six-episode British Hulu Original is an anti-romantic comedy. The series centers on longtime best friends Alice, played by Nicola Walker, and Jemaine Clement’s character, Steve. Their platonic relationship implodes when 50-something stylist Steve begins dating Alice’s 26-year-old daughter, Izzy (Yali Topol Margalith).
