The release date for the Blu-ray and DVD of Hulu's Pam & Tommy has been revealed by Lionsgate. Pam & Tommy is an incredible dramatization based on the actual events surrounding the theft and publicizing of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's sex tape. The mini-series stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Pamela and Tommy, respectively as well as the likes of Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, and Taylor Schilling. The drama follows Pamela and Tommy as they try to contain their leaked sex tape while Rogan's character, Rand Gauthier, attempts to become rich off the distribution of the video.
Lionsgate announced the official release date for the Blu-ray and DVD versions of Pam & Tommy. The mini-series will be available on DVD and Blu-ray in stores on August 9, 2022. The disc will include the entire five hours and forty minutes of the TV-MA drama, the option to watch the entire series with Spanish subtitles, and will be available for the retail price of $19.98.
Robert Siegel's Pam & Tommy was quite the success for Hulu garnering many views and favorable reviews in its run on the platform. James and Stan have commented on the incredible experience of making the show, and both have been praised heavily for their roles. However, the real-life Pam Anderson has gone on record saying she would never watch the show. One must imagine that Pam & Tommy's popularity will result in successful sales for the Blu-ray and DVD later this summer.
