One of Blumhouse’s most divisive horror movies, starring Emmy winner Julia Garner, has finally found a new streaming home on Peacock. Following its debut, the 2025 film received mixed reviews from critics and the audience. It currently holds a 48% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, while its Popcornmeter score is slightly higher at 54%.

Beginning today, 2025’s horror thriller movie Wolf Man is now officially available to stream on Peacock. It was a modern remake of 1941’s classic monster movie of the same name. In the film, Garner played the titular character’s journalist wife, Charlotte Lovell. The cast also included Christopher Abbott (Catch-22), Matilda Firth (Coma), Sam Jaeger (The Handmaid’s Tale), Ben Prendergast (The Sojourn Audio Drama), and Benedict Hardie (The Invisible Man).
Wolf Man was directed by The Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell from a screenplay he co-wrote with Corbett Tuck, Lauren Schuker Blum, and Rebecca Angelo. It was produced by Jason Blum, with Whannell, Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, and Mel Turner serving as executive producers. During its theatrical run, the film had a disappointing box office performance, grossing only over $35 million against a budget of around $25 million.
“The film follows Blake, a San Francisco husband and father, who inherits his remote childhood home in rural Oregon after his own father vanishes and is presumed dead. With his marriage to his high-powered wife, Charlotte, fraying, Blake persuades Charlotte to take a break from the city and visit the property with their young daughter, Ginger,” reads the synopsis.
“But as the family approaches the farmhouse in the dead of night, they’re attacked by an unseen animal and, in a desperate escape, barricade themselves inside the home as the creature prowls the perimeter. As the night stretches on, however, Blake begins to behave strangely, transforming into something unrecognizable, and Charlotte will be forced to decide whether the terror within their house is more lethal than the danger without.”
