What do we see in the Nightborn trailer?
The Nightborn trailer begins with Jon and Saga moving to an isolated house in the Finnish forests. They decide to expand their family after the move, and soon after, they’re shown as parents with a newborn. However, things quickly take an unexpected turn, as everything seems to be wrong with their child. Right from its appearance to its unquenchable hunger for Saga’s blood. The rest of the trailer follows Jon and Saga as they deal with their seemingly demonic child.
Rupert Grint, best known for playing Ronald Weasley in the Harry Potter films, will be seen as Jon, while Seidi Haarla, known for her role in Compartment No. 6, plays his wife, Saga. Other key cast members include Pamela Tola, Pirkko Saisio, Rebecca Lacey, and John Thomson.

Nightborn had its world premiere at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival in the Main Competition Section in February. The film has mostly earned positive reviews and currently holds a 70% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Nightborn will be available for streaming on Shudder from July 31, 2026.
