Extraction 3, starring Chris Hemsworth, has added Pierce Brosnan to its cast. Additionally, the production will feature multiple big-name actors.
Chris Hemsworth, who is well-known for his portrayal of Thor in the MCU, is the protagonist of Extraction. Following the success of the initial two movies, Netflix has decided to renew its action-thriller franchise for a third installment. In a recent exclusive update from Deadline, some big announcements related to Extraction 3’s cast have been revealed.
Per the report, the biggest name joining in is Pierce Brosnan. The actor, who boasts of having a couple of Golden Globe nominations under his belt, is well known for his role as James Bond. Joining Brosnan, the movie will also feature Siena Agudong (Sidelined), Chi Lewis-Perry (28 Years Later), Don Lee (Train to Busan), and Joe Taslim (The Furious).

Speaking about Brosnan’s career, his most famous movies include the James Bond films. The likes of Die Another Day, Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, and more established Brosnan as a superstar. However, besides his 007 persona, the actor also had some notable stints. Most notable among them is Paramount’s MobLand. In the superhit crime drama, Brosnan plays the role of a crime leader, Conrad Harrigan.
Apart from this, the 73-year-old is also seen appearing in Netflix’s The Thursday Murder Club. Brosnan is part of an elderly group of investigators who assemble to solve crimes and mysteries in an unconventional manner. Other projects Brosnan was a part of include Black Adam, Mamma Mia!, Fast Charlie, and more.
Coming back to Extraction 3, the third installment will be directed by Sam Hargrave. The script for the movie is written by David Weil, who adapted it from Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, and Ande Parks’ story. The executive producers for the movie include Steven V. Scavelli and Shelby Malone. While the film is in production, Extraction 3 does not have a release date yet.
